"The ultimate weapon against our kind."

- Antirite

About[]

Disbalancer is essentially.. your local malware. Lesser multiversal malware, to be exact.

It was created by Antirite as other Multiversal Entities began appearing, intended to be used in the case Antirite is attacked and the odds aren't looking very good. It is capable of erasing most of a Muliversal Entity's Entity Coding, completely flipping the balance of a confrontation, hence the name.

At some point, Antirite gifted it to Gelireis, as she trusted him as her semi-indirect creation and he was proving himself incredibly useful at the time. However, after the reboot, and the complete abandonment of Gelireis by the Void Four and Antirite herself, she had secretly taken it back as she no longer trusted him to have something like that, especially considering his new opinion on her.

It is currently stored inside the pocket dimension of Antirite's gem.

Appearance[]

If physically manifested, Disbalancer appears as a floating purple, diamond-shaped file, akin to the file of an AU. It's about the same size as the latter.

Functions[]

  • Coding Rupture: The person in possession of the Disbalancer targets a multiversal entity. If not stopped in time, Disbalancer will erase most of said entity's.. well, Entity Coding, leaving them with the power level of something slightly above an Anticontrolled character.
    • Using Coding Rupture on a Universe Inhabitant (or ~anything lesser than a Multiversal Entity, in that matter) will have this whole effect where, due to there being no Entity Coding to speak of, it randomly cuts down everything else - most often resulting in a glitched mess.
    • Coding Rupture does not affect Coder, Trench, Ktakt'Inargo, any Code Controllers, and most Fractured Entities.

Trivia[]

  • Disbalancer's name comes from the fact that it, as said prior, can completely shift the balance of a confrontation in the worst way possible for whoever the target is.
  • Disbalancer was implemented into the lore on 12.08.2023.
    • It was made at exactly 1 AM. Don't ask.
  • Most Fractured Entities are unaffected by Coding Rupture as their state is the result of an anomaly, and there isn't exactly any entity coding to speak of. Some do have entity coding though, and as such can be targeted.
  • The damage done by Disbalancer can be reversed by a Code Controller, as seen with Revision post-reboot.
  • Ironically enough, Disbalancer can be used on Antirite just fine, and will affect her the same way it would affect any other multiversal entity.
  • the name of its abilityeffect thing was something else before. i replaced like one word because it's kiiiiiiiind of a literal slur that shouldn't be here
